History
The Clarksburg Town Center Tiger Sharks Swim Team was founded in 2011 in Clarksburg, Maryland to help the young people of Clarksburg Town Center refine their swimming skills within a structured, competitive environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, positive self image, and personal growth.
With over 80 swim team members in its first year, the Clarksburg Town Center Tiger Sharks built a solid foundation of strong, talented swimmers. After three years of growth, the team moved to the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) in 2014.
The team is run solely on the time, dedication, talent, and support of our parent volunteers and community sponsors.
The pool address is: 12901 Sugarloaf Chapel Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871

Hey Tiger Sharks! My name is Nikolai Taylor and I’m excited to be back in the Shark Tank as your head coach this season!
I can’t wait to be back on the pool deck to see everyone swim fast and have fun! When I’m not on the pool deck, you can almost always find me at CHS as the schools Percussion Director. If not you might find me at the gym working out, or on the mountains riding my bike. I can’t wait to see you on the pool deck!
Coach Nikolai
Hi, I’m Max Johnson, a Clarksburg resident and collegiate swimmer at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania. I’ve been swimming competitively for 11 years and am excited to help swimmers of all skill levels grow their confidence, improve their technique, and have fun this season. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and making this the best Tiger Sharks season yet!
